Looking back at 2020 and feeling grateful for all Looking back at 2020 and feeling grateful for all the lessons I learnt.
This year my focus was on my home, family and lots of household chores 😀 Didnt have enough time to blog or post on insta . So much respect for people who are able to juggle different roles in life, but I can't and I realised that's ok too.
If you are scrolling through your Instagram feed and looking at people who are very productive and are able to manage their life efficiently, but you aren't. You might start feeling that something is lacking in your capability. I am here to tell you that there is nothing wrong with you. This is your life to live and everyone's path is different . Stop comparing your life with others.
You are in charge of your own life! Live it the way that brings you happiness!!!
Happy 2021 everyone!!!!

Can't get over this beautiful Rajkot Patola from Svasthi sarees!
There are two kinds of Patola saris namely Rajkot Patola and Patan Patola. Rajkot Patolas are vertically resist dyed which is also known as single Ikat.

A call from the weaver informing that he is happy and this month went well for him is what motivates Hema Hari from @svasthi_sarees
She has been helping weavers from Madurai, Gadwal and Kanchipuram for quite some years. Check out her page for some stunning sarees.

@svasthi_sarees was started by our dear @hemahari71 more than 6 years back. She used to conduct exhibitions at home and has recently launched Svasthi sarees on Instagram. She sources the sarees directly from the weavers.
She has kindly sent a beautiful purple single Ikat Rajkot Patola. This is a cotton silk saree and it was extremely easy to drape as the material is feather soft.
The last few decades have seen Rajkot and its neighbouring villages produce sarees similar in design to Patan Patola but in single ikat – using the technique of either warp or weft, unlike double ikat which employs the use of both. These are locally known as Rajkot Patola.

Check out @svasthi_sarees for some amazing handloom gems!

Stay tuned for more information on Rajkot Patolas and Svasthi sarees in my upcoming posts.

I want to thank everyone who subscribed to my new I want to thank everyone who subscribed to my new Youtube channel . I am so close to my first 100 subscribers. Please subscribe to my channel if you haven't already 😁
I have always been an introvert who would hide when photos were clicked , feel anxious to meet new people but everything changed when I decided to change my profession. I was into finance but was not happy and decided to try something new. I started my own blog and Instagram account. Confidence, happiness and creativity returned into my life. People around me didn't understand my decision at first. But I took the painting brush in my own hands to paint my beautiful life with the colours I like.
So, I want to thank my insta family who have supported and encouraged me!

Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything.
